Problem

Analyse signs of fire and smoke across multiple camera feeds and turn detections into notifications. The goal was to connect visual analysis with an alert workflow.

Solution

YOLOv8 fire and smoke detection was connected to multiple camera feeds through Python and FastAPI services. A Next.js interface and Telegram notifications bring analysis and alerts together.

Result

Two detection classes — fire and smoke — combine with multi-camera analysis and Telegram notifications in one open-source project. The API and web dashboard connect reviewing detections with sending alerts in a single workflow.
