FireGuard AI

An open-source early-warning project for detecting fire and smoke in camera footage, combining multiple camera feeds with real-time analysis and Telegram notifications.

Problem

Analyse signs of fire and smoke across multiple camera feeds and turn detections into notifications. The goal was to connect visual analysis with an alert workflow.

Solution

YOLOv8 fire and smoke detection was connected to multiple camera feeds through Python and FastAPI services. A Next.js interface and Telegram notifications bring analysis and alerts together.

Result

An open-source early-warning project was developed with multiple camera support, real-time visual analysis and Telegram notifications. Detection and notification workflows are available in the same system.
